I love the food from this place! The pork katsu is a perfect dish for two and the soy/garlic fried chicken is so delicious! I found this spot sometime last winter and I’ve been meaning to come back. They just recently changed the menu but it doesn’t affect the quality of food or service you get. The staff are really nice and I can’t wait to go back again 🥰

Went to Yakitame for the second time today, food was phenomenal especially spicy soy garlic chicken wings, they were the best wings we ever had, their fish katsu was also very very good and their teriyaki chicken was super tasty. We love the new owner, very very nice people and the service was amazing. We felt very welcomed the minute we walked in. The spot is very low key, good for small group and take out.

Probably the best Katsu place in JC! Very reasonable price, generous portion, and I could tell they use fresh ingredients and fresh oil. Staffs were super nice and kind. Definitely recommended if you are around the Heights 👌 👍

You know the ramen will be good when it smiles back at you. Haha, all jokes aside. Yakitame Bento and Katsu serves amazing ramen! The broth, noodles, meat, bamboo shoots, and everything else are of incredible quality. I usually order extra pork, so worth it, but that’s just me being a foodie. The owner is very kind, attentive, and offers excellent customer service. What makes this place great is that everything on the menu is reasonably priced. I hope the owner continues to provide amazing food at reasonable prices.

I recently did a food photoshoot at Yakitame Bento & Katsu and genuinely loved the experience. The team was kind and welcoming throughout the entire shoot. I got to try the fish katsu and it really stood out: crispy on the outside, light and flaky inside. It tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re craving a solid katsu spot.
